AT 945 AM EDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A
LARGE BAND OF MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY SHOWERS WITH ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM THE EASTERN SHORES OF LAKE ONTARIO
ACROSS CENTRAL NEW YORK AND INTO BENNINGTON AND WINDHAM COUNTIES
IN VERMONT. THIS ACTIVITY WAS MOVING NORTHEASTWARD AT 20 TO 30
MPH.

LOOK FOR THESE SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO MOVE ACROSS
THE NORTHERN ADIRONDACKS…THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY…AND RUTLAND AND
WINDSOR COUNTIES THROUGH 11 AM…WITH ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON.

EXPECT LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS IN ANY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
