H20 Temp. Brown-Out

We were too busy (working) today to get ahold of Woodstock Aqueduct Company to find out the source of the apparent temporary “brown-out” of our water around mid-day. We suspected a temporary “situation” that often means a shut-off, then a turn-on and related slight discoloration of water in the toilet and taps.

Although we don’t know the reason for the “brown-out”, (we will try to find out) we suspect it might have had something to do with the photograph above. A Woodstock Early Bird took this of Mr. Wegner next to a small hole. Mr. Wegner is our main man with Woodstock Aqueduct Co.

Water seems fine this evening — usually it’s a “no big deal”…but you were probably wondering.

Visitors at the Visitor’s Center noticed it. The water was “barnyard brindle” to say the least. Most were good natured about it. I told them the pipes were being worked on nearby.
