SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

A Family returning home after visiting relatives during the holiday weekend collided with a Kenmore oven on Interstate 89 in Randolph.  The oven, brand new and still in the cardboard box, was in the center of the left lane.  The collision caused moderate front end damage to the vehicle but completely destroyed the oven.  There were no injuries; however State Police want to remind motorists transporting bulky or oversized items to make sure they are properly secured in or on the vehicle.
