THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN NEW YORK…CENTRAL
VERMONT…NORTHEAST VERMONT…NORTHWEST VERMONT AND SOUTHERN
VERMONT.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT.

AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE REGION LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TONIGHT. SNOW SHOWERS AND SNOW SQUALLS
ARE LIKELY AHEAD OF THIS COLD FRONT LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES BY TONIGHT…WITH
SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER THE ADIRONDACKS
AND GREEN MOUNTAINS. TRAVEL WILL LIKELY BECOME HAZARDOUS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. SOME OF THE HEAVIER SNOW SQUALLS COULD PRODUCE A BRIEF PERIOD OF NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS. GUSTY WINDS OF AROUND 30
MPH ARE ALSO LIKELY.
