(Several Woodstock Early Birds reported extremely slow going and any number of slide-offs on I-89 today…)

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SUNDAY.
THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. (OH REALLY? – WEB)

* LOCATIONS…WESTERN RUTLAND AND WINDSOR COUNTIES OF VERMONT.

* HAZARD TYPES…SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW.

* TIMING…LIGHT SNOW…BRIEFLY HEAVY AT TIMES…WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THIS EVENING…BEFORE TAPERING OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT.

* IMPACTS…DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.

* WINDS…NORTH 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES…TEMPERATURES WILL FALL THROUGH THE 20S AND INTO
THE TEENS OVERNIGHT.
