Sonny, Quincy and Jazz Funk Winter Carnival

Sonny and QuincySonny Saul, of Pleasant Street Books, and his son Quincy,  put on a special jazz performance at the store Sunday, featuring original pieces.  We thank our Early Bird photographer Wayne Thompson for capturing a scene.

This get-together was the first intimate “concert” in a series to be held at Sonny’s place, Pleasant Street Books.  We’re sorry we missed it because we hear these two, Sonny and Quincy,  have it goin’ on.

However, there ARE future opportunities to hear Sonny, among others: If you are looking for local jazz, funk and just good music to get  you through Cabin Fever Time we would like to “pre-promote”  the Upcoming BarnArts EVENT on Saturday, March 16th.  It will take place at the Barnard Town Hall from 6pm to Midnight and will feature all sorts of super-energy to help you find your groove again.
