This crash occurred at the Joseph Smith Historical Site, not the Justin Morrill Historical Site.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 05/02/13 at approximately 1853 hours, Vermont State Police
dispatch was contacted in regard to a single car motor vehicle accident in South
Royalton, VT. The complainant stated that the vehicle involved had struck the
chapel at the Joseph Smith historical site. State Police responded to the
scene and learned that the vehicle had been unoccupied at the time of the crash.

The owner of the vehicle, Emily Burkholder, said that she had been having some
trouble with the emergency brake and that it must have slipped into gear. The
vehicle rolled down a short embankment from where it had been parked and struck
the side of the chapel building causing a fair amount of damage to the
structure.

No one was injured as a result of this crash and the vehicle was
able to be removed under its own power.
