SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the listed date and time WPD was contacted by the victim regarding a theft of a large oil painting from the foyer of property at 4 the Green.  The victim stated that it is unknown when the theft occurred, but had noticed the painting missing around May 1st, 2013 and

after checking with tenants and contractors contacted WPD to report the theft.

 

The painting is described as a large oil painting of a Girl with a Dog and it is framed in a large picture frame.

The victim advised they had no idea who could have taken the picture.

The victim valued the picture at $2,500.  The victim advised they would provide a picture of the painting if possible.  If a picture of the painting is provided WPD will release it as an update to this press release.
