Utility Work in Woodstock Village This Evening

Two Woodstock Early Birds picked up on the fact that the utility trucks you may see on Central and Pleasant Street right now and overnight are doing some scheduled maintenance. This may or may not be the explanation if you or your fellow residents find yourselves temporarily without power.

We had heard reports of scheduled power outages at Mac’s earlier today and now an Early Bird confirmed these details speaking to a utility worker on Pleasant Street. Although Green Mountain Power has no announcement of planned activity or outages on its website, we understand the utility work going on right now may have an effect from Ford Street to Lake Sunapee Bank.

Hey, do you know what those fireworks that just went off behind my house were for? I think they were coming from a road off Dunham hill…

It was a private party off of Dunham Hill. It was a “BIG TODO” with a special guest singer. I’m happy it didn’t rain so the performance could go on!
