Two Extrications After Rt. 4 Crash

From Hartford Police Press Release:

On June 6, 2013 the Hartford Police Department investigated a serious crash that occurred at approximately 09:10 on Woodstock Road (US Route 4) just east of the Interstate 89 southbound exit 1 ramp.

72 year old Ingrid Neuwirt of West Lebanon, NH was operating a 1997 Toyota Camry, travelling eastbound when she struck 43 year old Shirley Adams of White River Junction who was operating a 2009 Subaru Outback, travelling westbound.

Both operators required extrication and were taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Adams sustained non-life threatening injuries. Neuwirt sustained major injuries and is in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
