VSP: Man Dies Several Weeks After Rt. 107 Stockbridge Crash

Update 7/14/13:

On July 4th, 2013, Henry Maxham, 89, the operator in a motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 16th, 2013 on Route 107 in Stockbridge died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH due to complications from injuries he sustained in the crash.  The traffic crash investigation is on-going at this time.

Update 7/2/13:

On July 1st, 2013 during the evening hours, Doris Bowen, a passenger in the
motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 16th, 2013 on Route 107 in Stockbridge
died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH due to complications
from injuries she sustained in the crash. The traffic crash investigation is
on-going.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:  On 06/16/2013 at approximately 1705 hours, Vermont State
Police received a report of a one car motor vehicle accident on VT Route 107 in
the area of house number 5993 near Arnold Mountain Road in Stockbridge, VT.
White River Valley Ambulance Service and South Royalton Rescue responded to the
scene to transport the vehicle’s two occupants to Gifford Medical Center for
treatment.  The operator, Henry Maxham, said that he had fallen asleep while
driving home to Rochester.  The extent of their injuries is known at this time,
although they were not thought to be life threatening.  Blakeman’s Towing
responded and removed the vehicle.
