VSP Seek Help Apprehending Pittsford Home Invader and Assault Perp


Home Invasion and Physical Assault in Pittsford, VT

Pittsford, VT – 07-17-13 – Today the Vermont State Police received a 911 call at approximately 1:08 PM reporting a person had entered into a residence on Freeman Hill in Pittsford, VT and assaulted the occupant inside.

Uniform troopers and detectives from the Rutland Barracks responded to the residence and located the 15 year old female occupant of the residence. The victim had visible bruising and injuries and was transported the Rutland Regional Hospital for treatment of her injuries. The residence, the immediate neighborhood, and the surrounding area were searched for the suspect with negative results.

The suspect was described as a white male, 20’s to early 30’s, between 5’6″ to 5’9″, thin build, brown hair (over his ears but not touching his neck), brown eyes, thin lips, a bump on the bridge of his nose and short stubby facial hair.

At the time he was wearing, a white tank top, black shorts worn low that hung below his knees, black tube socks pulled up to his knees and white latex gloves. The victim also described a black colored tattoo on the suspect’s right shoulder; attached is a drawing of the tattoo.

The female victim will not be identified due to the nature of the incident and age of the victim.
