No disrespect to Mr Wilson but I knew the question to ask when heard there was a new police officer hired was “oh, what’s HIS name “? Really Woodstock ? How many female residents are there here ? And how many female police officers are there ??

I am sure Officer Kevin is well qualified, and I welcome him to our force- not an easy task to find good folks to look out for our well-being. I would also welcome a female officer as an integral part of our force, even part-time.

Ask yourselves this question…… Has a female officer applied for the position? if so was she as qualified as others who maybe male? would it be nice to have a female officer in the department, yes but its not our choice. That seems to be what most of the people of this town do is complain, weather its noise or who’s right or wrong.

I don’t complain, I just speak my mind. And it’s not about right and wrong, it’s about rights, as in equality and the right to peaceful enjoyment.
