SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On the above date and time, Vermont State Police dispatch received a call about
an accident involving a FedEx van and a motorcycle. The operator of the FedEx
van, Mark Priestley was turning left to make a delivery on Route 12 in Barnard.
Louis Ahlen was driving a motorcycle behind Priestley. Ahlen attempted to pass
Priestly on the left and Priestley started to make a left hand turn at the same
time. The front end of Ahlen motorcycle collided with the driver’s side door of
Priestley van. Ahlen was transported to Gifford Hospital for non-life
threatening injuries.
