Thinking maybe 4 DUIs would land you in jail for a few minutes??

clearly there is a problem here – that needs attention. dependency is tough to battle for sure, my question is why would someone with 4 DUI’s still have a valid license to drive??

Disturbing and puzzling. I thought VT had a law that a license was suspended after 3 DUI’s? And if there was any injury or significant property damage, a jail sentence? If we do not have such laws on the books, then let’s talk to the legislators about what could be done. Too many lives at stake to allow repeat offenders back on the road after 3, not to mention 4 DUIs.

Anything goes up her for drunk drivers…..and multiple offenders at that!
New Hampshire is much tougher; but, Vermont seems to look the other way
when it comes to letting these people continue to drive. Why not suspend
his license for life at this stage of the game? Only seems fair to protect the rest of us.
